February Vacation

We decided to take a vacation during an odd time of year so that we could just relax and enjoy a change of scenery without plans or outings. We took about nine days and went up to Northern Utah to see friends and family. It turned out to be a very special trip because shortly after this trip Mary's Grandfather Harold Ronald Taylor had a heart attack and a month and a half later he died. Will loved being up in snow country and sharing his kids with the camera and white stuff.

Lilly found out what cold really feels like,
and why we should wear coats in snow.
One night while we were up in SLC we got together with some old friends.
Danny got his first look at Pizza and as you'll see later he was hooked. Thanks Chad
Lilly is such a good eater.
The vacation was great but we all agreed the best part was coming home.

Kimberly's Birthday with all the Taylor Cousins

So near the end of February we went up to St. George for Mary's niece Kimberly's Birthday. That's her with the basket ball.

Her dad Mary's little brother Johnny made hot dogs for everyone.

For the first time we had all of the Taylor nieces and nephews together but when there's candy good luck getting them to all stop eating long enough for a photo shoot.

to think Mary and her sibs were that small once.
We had two firsts Danny got to play with grass,
and Lilly had her first wack at a Pinata.

Lilly's 2nd Birthday

So Lilly is a true girl and picked the chocolate cake. Mary decorated it and we were all excited.
For a minute we weren't sure if Lilly was just going to watch the candles or blow them out.
Lilly made sure that everyone enjoyed their cake and explained to Great Grandma that it was good.

By two Lilly is a pro at opening her presents.
Andrew thought he should help. But she was doing alright on her own.
Lilly loves her great Grandma Muir and enjoyed showing her all the fun presents.
